I wish that I had taken a picture of our overstuffed car!!!. We barely had room to fit into our seats,but even so, we were excited to arrive and be here even though the temperature was 113 degrees.
After stopping at the visitor center just over the border into Oklahoma and found out that we would need $8-10 of change in quarters, nickles and dimes (which we didn't have for the toll roads), we took the longer scenic route to Tulsa.
Even though there has been a severe drought for over a year it was still beautiful to see the rolling hills covered with grass; and trees and farm houses, nestled every 5 to 10 miles. The traffic in Tulsa is very busy! Roads going every direction 9all 0f them 6 lains -- and without mountains it is hard to tell the direction of north, sound, etc.

Elder and Sister Barker, one of the mission secretaries and the fleet mechanic met us here and helped us unpack and get our home on wheels into the apartment
